Logbook & Absence Policy

Logbook Structure

Create a table for every week containing:

  • Week/Date
  • Job/Task Description
  • Checked By (Supervisor's Signature). Digital signatures are permitted.

Absence Warning

ILLEGAL ABSENCE

Missing proof + No approval = Illegal Absence. This is subject to termination by the company.

Detailed Report Content

The narrative report must contain the following sections:

  • Abstract: Summary of the report.
  • Introduction: General introduction.
  • Historical Background: Company origins and development.
  • Main Activities Structure: Primary functions & framework.
  • Objectives: Skills intended to be acquired.
  • Scope / Schedule: Plan and sequence of training.
  • Company Profile: Mission, size, and operational scope.
  • Industrial Environment: Observations of the workplace.
  • Adaptation: Adjustment to the industry.
  • OSHE: Occupational Safety & Health Environment.
  • Industrial Experiences: Personal experiences gained.
  • Industrial Projects: Specific projects handled.
  • Summary: Conclusion.
  • References: IEEE Style.

Style & Layout Rules

Your document must adhere to these specific settings:

Typography (Arial Only)

  • Font Family: Arial (mandatory for all text).
  • Main Headings: 20 pt, Bold.
  • Subheadings: 18 pt (Level 1), 16 pt (Level 2).
  • Body Text: 12 pt.

Visuals & Spacing

  • Margins: Standard (1 inch / 2.54cm).
  • Line Spacing: Single or 1.5.
  • Figure Captions: Place BELOW the figure.
  • Table Captions: Place ABOVE the table.
